Dr Abdul Ahad Author of the book 31st August, 2006 Workshop on Effective Social Communication Through Creative Use of Media International Resource Cell, University of Kashmir on August 31st organized a one day workshop on Effective Social communication through creative Use of Media. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Annirban Dutta, a communication expert from British Council, New Delhi. Students from Media Education Research Centre (MERC) attended the workshop . It is not out of place to mention that the workshop was the first of its kind conducted in the University Campus “we didn’t know the simple way of communication like writing a message on the playing cards, on the calendars and on toys. Such simple ways can really make the communication effective” said Muhammad Afzal a participant from MERC, The workshop lasted for 6 hours.
