The aim of International Resource Cell is to share knowledge, learning and experience of international issues where international resources can be accessed, discussed and disseminated. The IRC will encourage not just reading but debate and discussions

Books:

The books published 1999 onwards on international issues including subjects such as international relations, international law, conflict management, prevention, economics, social work, peace building, women studies and related issues.

Journals:

At least 25 international journals are on subscription. Audio CDs/DVDs: Films, documentaries and audio materials related to international issues is the part of collections.

E-resources:

IRC provides access to e-resources like Portals- Journals of Multidisciplinary, International Studies, "http://epress.lib.uts.edu.au//

Social Politics:

International studies in gender, state and society "http://sp.oxfordjournals.org/current.dt1 Peace and Conflict Monitor Data bases like EBSCO and INFOTRAC are on subscription. The ethnic conflict, research digest, conflict data service, Ark social and political achieve and CAIA online resources available from INCOA. Newspaper/ Magazines search facility on the internet for relevant article on relevant issues.

Membership:

The British Council Library, Delhi has provided the Allama Iqbal Library the membership facility to the students, research scholars and teachers. The facility can be availed at British Council, New Delhi. The International Resource Cell offers a series of events on International issues which stimulate debates , Group Discussion ,Book Review., Film screening, competitions, panel discussions on specific themes are the activities of the IRC

Visits by academics from India and other countries to deliver lecture, run seminars/workshops is being provided Video Conference facility between the academics of Kashmir University and else where in India, Europe will be provided soon.
